Born on October 24, 1991, in Houston, TX, I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil. My journey into art deepened in high school, where I learned the fundamentals of drawing and explored various painting mediums. Although I briefly attended college to study art, I left, feeling uncertain about my path.
For years, I explored different jobs, searching for my place in the world. Eventually, I found myself in the military. Throughout this journey, however, art was a constant companion. Thanks to the internet, I continued to develop my skills, diving into the intricacies of oil painting and most recently digital painting.
It was during a deployment in Africa that I truly realized my passion. Faced with uncertainty about life after the military, I came to understand that art has always been my refuge—a source of joy and expression. This revelation led to the creation of Francisco Rivera Art, a platform where I can share my work and hopefully inspire others.
I classify my art as surrealism, using it to interpret life's struggles and hardships. Creating art is not just a hobby; it’s a way for me to express my feelings and cope with life’s challenges. Join me on this journey as I explore the depths of imagination and emotion through my creations.
